Diphoso Gaddafi Maitiyo joined Pabalelo in 2018 and became Director of the Trust in 2022. He offers technical support through his scientific training.

Kewabone started with Pabalelo as a “Tirelo Sechaba” government volunteer, but has a natural interest and knowledge of cropping in this area, having grown up helping his mother plough and plant.

Abigail joined Pabalelo as a Tirelo Sechaba volunteer, learning permagardening firsthand from her father, who is one of the Pabalelo champions and first employees.
